Armenian PM meets Turkmenistan’s President

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the city of Turkmenbashi, where he arrived today for the CIS summit.

According to a readout from the Prime Minister’s Office, during the one-on-one meeting President Serdar Berdimuhamedov welcomed the Armenian Prime Minister’s visit and emphasized the importance of developing bilateral cooperation in various areas. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked him for the warm hospitality and added that the Armenian government is interested in expanding and deepening both political and trade and economic ties.

The Armenian and Turkmen leaders exchanged views on various issues related to the Armenia–Turkmenistan bilateral agenda.
