Armenia women’s national team beats Jordan 2-1 in away friendly

Armenia’s women’s national football team defeated Jordan 2-1 in an away friendly in Jordan on October 7.

Anna Dallakyan and Maral Artin scored for Armenia, while Jordan scored its only goal in stoppage time.

“We played until the end, weren’t afraid of difficult moments, and most importantly, believed that we could win. I thank the girls for their dedication and fighting spirit,” Armenia head coach Mariam Stepanyan said after the match.

Armenia’s women’s national team will face Indonesia on October 10. That match will also be played in Jordan.
