Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Germany’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Claudia Busch, on the occasion of the Federal Republic of Germany’s national day.
According to a statement published on the official Facebook page of the Armenian President’s Office, Khachaturyan congratulated the ambassador, the German people and the authorities, wishing them peace, prosperity and success.
Ambassador Claudia Busch thanked the president for the reception and good wishes, highlighting her efforts to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides emphasised the importance of developing cooperation between Armenia and Germany in political, economic and other fields, and deepening cooperation within the framework of the European Union.
They also discussed Germany’s continued support for reforms of democratic and state institutions in Armenia.
