Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Aram Asryan as his assistant.
The appointment decree was published online on Thursday.
Asryan studied at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law, the College of Law in Guildford, where he obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), and the University of Oxford, where he earned an MSc in Law and Finance. He is a solicitor of England and Wales.
On June 15, Prime Minister Pashinyan invited graduates of leading universities around the world to apply their knowledge and professional experience to Armenia’s public administration system. Asryan was among 1,141 applicants who responded to the Prime Minister’s invitation and, following interviews and professional assessments, were included in the government’s talent pool.
From 2006 to 2014, he worked as a lawyer in private practice at international and local law firms, specializing in commercial, corporate and tax law. From 2015 to 2018, he was Senior Legal Counsel at BCS Financial Group, a financial group managing $9 billion in assets. From 2018 to 2025, he served as General Counsel at technology company Soveren Inc. He founded Lawgmented Inc., an AI SaaS company.
Asryan is 39 and was born in Yerevan.
