The European Union has congratulated Armenia on the 35th anniversary of its independence.
“The European Union stands with the people of Armenia as they shape their own future, based on sovereignty, democracy and territorial integrity, peace and prosperity,” the EU said in a statement.
The Republic of Armenia marks the 35th anniversary of its independence on September 21.
