Authorities have dismantled the concrete fence of a mansion illegally built by business magnate and Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan below the absolute elevation of Lake Sevan, the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
Meanwhile, a lawsuit filed by the state concerning residential houses and other buildings illegally possessed by Tsarukyan’s Multi Group Concern LLC in the coastal area of Lake Sevan is currently before the court.
The Prosecutor General’s Office said that since December 2025, 205 illegally constructed permanent and non-permanent buildings have been dismantled on 70 plots of land along Lake Sevan located below the absolute elevation.
Two contracts with Sevan National Park SNCO have also been terminated.
Tsarukyan is currently in pre-trial detention on charges of particularly large-scale fraud, money laundering and tax evasion.
He denies wrongdoing.
