The deadline I have set for the return of captives is ‘as soon as possible’ – Prime Minister

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that the deadline he has set regarding the return of Armenian captives held in Azerbaijan and other compatriots deprived of their liberty is “as soon as possible”.
During the National Assembly-Government question-and-answer session, Syuzanna Avetisyan, an MP from the Strong Armenia faction, asked the Prime Minister what deadline he had set for the return of the captives, after which he would consider the process to have failed and resign.
“The deadline I have set for myself is as soon as possible, both with regard to the return of the captives and our compatriots deprived of their liberty. As for resignation, let me remind you again that I have resigned at least twice since 2018,” Pashinyan replied.
According to the Prime Minister, peace is a multifaceted phenomenon.
“Today you say that, for our 19 compatriots, there is no peace, but I say that there is peace for millions. And as long as there is peace for millions, I will consider that there is peace,” he said.
Pashinyan also assured that work is being carried out every day towards the return of the captives.
