Steps to improve efficiency of state asset management discussed under Prime Minister’s leadership

A consultation chaired by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held to discuss issues related to the management of state assets.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister, Davit Tavadyan, Chairman of the State Property Management Committee, presented details on the digitalisation of state assets, the introduction of new approaches to their management and regulation, and ensuring transparency and accountability. The organisational structure of state asset management was also addressed.

The discussion focused on steps aimed at ensuring the targeted, efficient and transparent use of state assets. Various observations and proposals were presented on the issue.

Summing up the discussions, the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of developing an effective asset management model aimed at ensuring clear accounting of assets, their ongoing assessment, stable revenues for the state budget and support for the country’s economic development.

Nikol Pashinyan instructed officials to continue work on developing the model.
