Armenian man sets historic record with nonstop Lake Sevan swim

Sports enthusiast Hovhannes Gabrielyan has set a historic record by swimming the entire length of Lake Sevan.
Gabrielyan covered a distance of 74 kilometers, completing the entire swim continuously in about 34 hours.
His friends welcomed Gabrielyan at Turquoise Beach (Piruze Beach) in Tsovagyugh and presented him with a symbolic medal.
His relatives said the swimmer is in good condition. He is currently under doctors’ supervision to recover his strength.
