Norway’s Princess Astrid dies aged 94

Norway’s Princess Astrid, sister of the recently deceased King Harald V, has died at the age of 94.

The Norwegian Royal House announced the news.

“His Majesty the King received with great sorrow the news that Princess Astrid has passed away. The Princess died today, Friday, September 11, at the age of 94,” the statement said.

The cause and circumstances of her death were not disclosed.
