The newly appointed Ambassador of France to Armenia, Florian Escudié, has presented a copy of his credentials to Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Vahan Kostanyan.
The ministry said in a press release that during the meeting Deputy Minister Kostanyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming office and wished him a productive tenure.
The Deputy Minister expressed confidence that the newly appointed ambassador will make a significant contribution to further strengthening Armenia-France relations and deepening the strategic partnership.
The sides exchanged views on current issues on the bilateral agenda, addressing the promotion of cooperation in the areas outlined by the joint declaration on the Armenia-France strategic partnership and the implementation of new initiatives.
In this context, they also emphasized the importance of cooperation in the trade, economic, and infrastructure sectors as key areas of the bilateral agenda.
