The Armenia–UK Business Forum 2026, taking place in Yerevan on 5–6 October, will bring leading international voices from business and academia to Armenia, with Dr Alex Connock, Senior Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, among its key speakers.

At the Forum, Dr Connock will address “Agentic AI, Media and Marketing,” drawing on both his academic work at Oxford and extensive experience in the media industry to examine how advances in artificial intelligence are changing the way businesses communicate, reach audiences and operate.

Dr Connock teaches media, marketing and artificial intelligence across Oxford Saïd’s BA, MBA and Executive MBA programmes. His perspective is also shaped by years of building and leading media companies: he has founded several businesses, authored books on AI, media and entrepreneurship, and has been shortlisted six times for Entrepreneur of the Year in the UK. His academic work has most recently been recognised by the University of Oxford with awards for teaching innovation and excellence in 2025 and 2026.

Bringing this combination of academic insight and real-world business experience to Yerevan, Dr Connock’s session will offer Forum participants a closer look at what the shift towards agentic AI means for the future of media, marketing and business leadership.

Held under the theme “Building Bridges for Capital, Talent and Innovation,” the Armenia–UK Business Forum 2026 will bring together senior decision-makers from Armenia and the United Kingdom to strengthen bilateral business ties and create new opportunities for cooperation.

Registration for the 5–6 October Forum in Yerevan is open at forum.oabc.am.
