Armenian Speaker, Swiss ambassador discuss regional security

Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan met with the Ambassador of Switzerland to Armenia Andrea Barbara Baumann on September 7.

According to a readout from the parliament’s press service, the ambassador congratulated Ruben Rubinyan on his election as Speaker, wishing him success.

During the meeting, the relations established between Armenia and Switzerland and the need for their further strengthening were highlighted.

The importance of developing interparliamentary ties was emphasized.

Issues related to regional security and stability were also discussed.
