Armenia Culture Days will be held in Georgia in October 2026, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia.

On September 3, as part of the preparatory work, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia Tigran Virabyan traveled to Tbilisi and met with Georgian Deputy Minister of Culture Giorgi Mirtskhulava, the ministry said in a press release.

Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia Ashot Smbatyan was also present at the meeting. The sides discussed issues related to the organization of the Armenia Culture Days program and addressed new opportunities for the development of bilateral cultural ties.

The Deputy Minister also visited the Zakaria Paliashvili Tbilisi State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, where he met with the theater’s artistic director Badri Maisuradze.

The Armenia Culture Days program in Georgia will kick off with a gala concert by the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, which will take place on October 7.

An exhibition of works by Yervand Kochar is also planned, which will be on display from October 7 to November 8.
