Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has appointed Davit Ivanyan as Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
The appointment decision was published on Wednesday by the government.
Ivanyan, 32, studied at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management with advanced French, and at Warwick Business School at the University of Warwick, where he earned a master’s degree in International Business.
Prime Minister Pashinyan continues to appoint professionals who graduated from leading foreign universities and who, following his call, applied to join the Armenian government’s talent pool.
Davit Ivanyan was born in Moscow.
From 2013 to 2016, he studied at the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom, earning a bachelor’s degree in Business and Management with advanced French.
From 2016 to 2017, he studied at Warwick Business School at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom, earning a master’s degree in International Business.
From 2017 to 2019, he worked as a Business Development Specialist at FM Logistic in Moscow.
From 2019 to 2020, he worked as a Business Development Manager at DSV Panalpina in Moscow.
In 2020, he worked as a Business Development Manager at DPD in Moscow.
In 2020, he repatriated to Armenia as part of the first cohort of the iGorts program of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.
From 2020 to 2021, he served as an expert at the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia as an iGorts program participant.
From 2021 to 2022, he was a Product Manager in the commercial division of HayPost CJSC.
From 2022 to 2026, he served as Director of Yandex Delivery in Armenia and, since 2025, also in Georgia.
The five other Deputy Ministers of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure—Kristine Ghalechyan, Avetik Darbinyan, Narek Apitonyan, Arnak Avetisyan, and Asatur Vardanyan—were reappointed earlier.
