Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the official opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games in Bishkek, the Armenian Prime Minister’s Office said.
Leaders of the countries participating in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit also attended the event.
Before the opening ceremony, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov welcomed the high-ranking guests.
During the ceremony, athletes from the countries participating in the Games made a ceremonial entrance into the stadium carrying their national flags. Armenian athletes are also taking part in the Games.
Following the opening ceremony, a dinner was hosted on behalf of the Kyrgyz President in honour of the leaders of the countries participating in the event.
