PSRC chief visits Gazprom Armenia’s Hrazdan-5 power plant

The Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) Chairman Mesrop Mesropyan and members of the Commission paid a visit to Gazprom Armenia’s Hrazdan-5 power plant, which generates electricity using a combined-cycle gas turbine.

According to a readout released by the PSRC, Gazprom Armenia CJSC General Director Ashot Hakobyan and Hrazdan-5 Director Ruben Vardanyan briefed the commission representatives on the plant’s operations, technical capabilities and upgrades carried out in recent years.

Issues related to the efficient and reliable operation of the plant, as well as ensuring the stability of the energy system, were discussed.

PSRC Chairman Mesrop Mesropyan emphasized the importance of regular working meetings with companies in the sector, highlighting the importance of joint efforts.
