Iran says military capabilities restored following US strikes

Iran has acquired new military equipment and restored damaged military infrastructure, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia, a representative of the Iranian Armed Forces, said.

“We have taken measures to acquire new equipment, and it has arrived today,” he said in an interview with the Mehr news agency.

The official did not specify what exactly Tehran had acquired.

In addition, according to Akraminia, Tehran has “strengthened its military capabilities” and restored military infrastructure damaged during the armed conflict.

Akraminia also said the Iranian Armed Forces had been strengthened as a result of preparations carried out during the ceasefire with the United States.

The Iranian Armed Forces representative said his country would shift from a defensive to an offensive strategy if hostilities resumed, which, he said, would allow Iran to deter threats.
