Armenia, Iran discuss construction of second bridge over Araks River

Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Kristine Ghalechyan met with Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami.

According to the ministry’s readout, the Deputy Minister emphasized the importance of implementing joint programs in the field of infrastructure development.

The meeting discussed the progress of jointly implemented infrastructure projects.

The initiative to construct a second bridge over the Araks River at the Armenia-Iran state border was also discussed.

The meeting also addressed other issues of mutual interest.
