Parliament debates MP Lusine Badalyan’s candidacy for healthcare committee chair

Parliament is debating the candidacy of MP Lusine Badalyan for chair of the Standing Committee on Healthcare.
Badalyan was nominated by the Civil Contract parliamentary faction.
In her remarks, Badalyan said that healthcare is one of the most important components of a developing and strong state.
“High-quality and accessible healthcare means a healthy society, healthy youth, and a strong army. High-quality and accessible healthcare means lower rates of illness and disability and a reduced social burden on the state,” Badalyan said, thanking her fellow members of the Civil Contract faction for nominating her for the position.
