Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn has congratulated Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on his reappointment.
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, in a letter, FM Sokhonn said that Cambodia and Armenia have friendly and close cooperative relations that have been built on shared values and mutual respect for more than three decades.
“These relations have been further strengthened through the dialogue mechanisms between our two ministries. I am confident that, through our joint efforts, our bilateral ties and partnership will further develop and reach new levels in the coming years, for the benefit of the peoples of both countries,” the Cambodian FM said.
Following the Civil Contract party’s victory in the June 7 parliamentary elections, the Pashinyan administration began a new term, with nearly all Cabinet members retaining their posts.
