Vietnam's Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung has congratulated his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, on his reappointment.
“Over the past years, multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and Armenia has steadily strengthened and developed, with effective interaction between the two foreign ministries playing an extremely important role,” the Armenian Foreign Ministry quoted the Vietnamese FM as saying in a letter addressed to Mirzoyan. “I am deeply convinced that, through the efforts and determination of both sides, the friendly relations of traditional friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Armenia, as well as interaction between our ministries, will become closer and more fruitful, serving the interests of the peoples of both countries and contributing to strengthening peace and stability in the region and around the world.”
Following the Civil Contract party’s victory in the June 7 parliamentary elections, the Pashinyan administration began a new term, with nearly all Cabinet members retaining their posts.
