Türkiye and UK foreign ministers discuss Ukraine and Middle East

Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed the situation in the Middle East and the latest developments regarding the conflict in Ukraine with UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, RIA Novosti reported.

“During the telephone conversation, the sides discussed the situation in the Middle East, primarily in the Gaza Strip, developments surrounding the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and efforts to end the ongoing military hostilities in the region,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.

Hakan Fidan also congratulated Ed Miliband on assuming the post of the United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary.
