Prime Minister Pashinyan sends congratulatory message to Canadian Prime Minister

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Canada Day. The congratulatory message reads:

“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Canada on Canada Day.

It was a great honor for me to host you in Yerevan in May of this year, within the framework of the 8th Summit of the European Political Community. I recall with satisfaction our meeting, which provided a good opportunity to discuss the agenda of Armenia-Canada cooperation and outline the directions for its further development. I am confident that this positive dialogue will give a new impetus to the further deepening of the partnership between Armenia and Canada.

Armenia attaches great importance to the continued development of friendly relations with Canada, based on democracy, human rights, the rule of law and mutual respect.

I am hopeful that through joint efforts it will be possible to further expand and strengthen our cooperation in areas of mutual interest, for the benefit of our two countries and peoples.

I wish you good health and success, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Canada.”
