Armenia, Latvia discuss bilateral ties and EU partnership

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke by phone on Tuesday with his Latvian counterpart Baiba Braže.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a readout that the foreign ministers discussed the continued strengthening of bilateral partnership between Armenia and Latvia.

The importance of enhancing cooperation in the economic sphere was emphasized, taking into account the readiness expressed at the political level.

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Foreign Minister Baiba Braže exchanged views on work toward implementing the strategic agenda of the Armenia–EU partnership.

“The foreign ministers of Armenia and Latvia also addressed various hybrid activities targeting democratic processes and discussed effective ways to counter them,” the Foreign Ministry said.
