Khachaturyan and Pashinyan awarded France’s Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have been awarded the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour by decision of French President Emmanuel Macron.

The decorations were presented to them by Macron during a state dinner.

The Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour is France’s highest state distinction, established in 1802 by Napoleon Bonaparte.

Earlier, by decree of the President of Armenia, Emmanuel Macron had been awarded the Order of Glory.
