Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a Security Council meeting.
According to a press release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Foreign Intelligence Service Chief Kristinne Grigoryan “delivered a comprehensive report on developments surrounding the Islamic Republic of Iran and the events taking place in the Middle East.”
"Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan presented a report on the activities of the interagency working group established by the Prime Minister’s directive. As a result of the meeting, the Prime Minister issued the necessary instructions. The participants in the session expressed deep regret over the painful developments, extended their condolences in connection with the victims, and emphasized the urgent need for the swift establishment of peace.
President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister’s Office Arayik Harutyunyan, Vice Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan, Parliamentary Majority Leader MP Hayk Konjoryan, and Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs MP Sargis Khandanyan also participated in the meeting.
