Swedish government reaffirms support for Armenia’s democratic development, EU cooperation

Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard reaffirmed that the Swedish government continues to support Armenia’s democratic development.

She made the remarks in the Swedish Parliament while presenting her 2025 report to legislators.

“The Government of Sweden continues to support democratic developments in Armenia and welcomes Armenia’s efforts aimed at closer cooperation with the EU,” the Foreign Minister said.
