Armenia’s figure skating pair, Karina Akopova and Nikita Rakhmanin, finished 14th at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo. In the free skating program, the Armenian athletes earned 114.39 points and were ranked 14th among 16 participants, with a total score of 180.66. The pair had scored 66.27 in the short program.
Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara of Japan won gold with a total score of 231.24 (73.11 in the short program and 158.13 in the free skating program). This gold is Japan’s first medal in pairs skating.
Anastasiia Metelkina and Luka Berulava of Georgia also earned their country’s first Winter Olympic medal —a silver—while Minerva Fabienne Hase and Nikita Volodin of Germany won bronze.
At the end of Day 10, Norway leads the 2026 Winter Olympics medal count with 28 total medals. The nation remains on track to become the first in 20 years to lead the medal count at three consecutive Winter Olympic Games.
Italy ranks second in total medals with 23, marking their most successful Winter Olympics to date. The U.S. rounds out the top three with 19 total medals.
