Mkhitaryan meets Armenia national team manager

Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan met with Armenia national football team manager Yeghishe Melikyan in Milan.

The Armenian Football Federation said in a press release that the meeting took place after the Inter–Juventus match.

Melikyan had previously stated that he would try to bring Mkhitaryan, one of the most celebrated Armenian footballers of all time, back to the national team. Mkhitaryan ended his international career in 2022.

“Henrikh Mkhitaryan reaffirmed that, at this stage, he is focused exclusively on his club career. Yeghishe Melikyan and Henrikh Mkhitaryan discussed a number of issues concerning both European and Armenian football,” the federation said.
