Embassy of Qatar in Yerevan marks 15th National Sports Day

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Yerevan, in cooperation with Ayb School, organized a sports program to mark Qatar's 15th National Sports Day.

As part of the program, a basketball match was held among high school students. At the end of the event, medals were awarded to the teams, and the winning team received a commemorative gift.

Qatar marked the launch of the 15th edition of National Sports Day on Tuesday morning under the slogan "I Chose Sport," with sporting activities unfolding across the country in a nationwide celebration of health, vitality, and community engagement, the Qatar News Agency reported.

Unique to Qatar, the annual occasion underscores the central role of physical activity in promoting social cohesion and quality of life, while raising awareness of its importance in building healthy individuals and encouraging sport as a daily way of life.
