Armenian infrastructure minister, UK Ambassador discuss strategic ties and cooperation

Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan held a meeting with UK Ambassador to Armenia Alexandra Cole.

Minister Khudatyan emphasized the importance of the continuous development of Armenia-UK relations, the ministry said in a readout.

In turn, the Ambassador highlighted that Armenia-UK ties are at the level of a strategic partnership.

During the meeting, infrastructure projects were discussed. Minister Khudatyan informed the Ambassador that the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure is implementing a major infrastructure project and expressed the hope that UK companies would participate in these projects and international tenders.

The Crossroads of Peace initiative was also discussed.

Both sides underscored the significance of the launch of direct flights between Yerevan and London starting in June, which will provide opportunities to further develop relations between the two countries in both trade and tourism.
