It is very important that Yerevan and Washington can now show concrete, tangible, and visible expressions of the strategic partnership signed in 2025. In response to a question from Armenpress, this was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a joint statement with U.S. Vice President JD Vance, assessing the current level of Armenia–US relations, the progress of work between the two countries, as well as the expected new processes.
According to the Prime Minister of Armenia, the level of relations between Yerevan and Washington is higher than ever.
“It is very important that with Vice President Vance we underscored the great potential for the further development of our relations. Yes, today we are at the highest point, but the agenda that we reaffirmed in our statements would multiply the scope of our cooperation. Armenia and the United States have established a strategic partnership, and it is very important that now we can demonstrate concrete manifestations of that strategic partnership, which are tangible and visible,” the Prime Minister of Armenia emphasized.
Prime Minister Pashinyan expressed his special appreciation to U.S. President Donald Trump for his personal engagement in the development of relations with Armenia.
“Today, I also thanked Vice President JD Vance for his personal engagement, because we know that our meeting and very meaningful discussion at the White House on February 7, 2025, were of key importance for subsequent events,” the Prime Minister said.
