Armenian Speaker of Parliament to meet Russian Foreign Minister in Moscow

Armenian Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during his upcoming official visit to Moscow, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

“On February 5, the head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will meet with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, who will be on an official visit to Moscow,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing.

Speaker Simonyan earlier said that he had been invited to Russia by the Chairwoman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko.
