Simonyan meets Deputy Speaker of Hungarian Parliament

Armenian Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan held a meeting with István Jakab, the Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament.

“Expressing gratitude for the visit to the Republic of Armenia, Alen Simonyan highly appreciated the importance of such visits in terms of developing Armenia–Hungary relations,” the parliament’s press service said in a readout.

István Jakab thanked the Speaker for the warm reception, noting that there is great potential for the development of bilateral relations. Simonyan and Jakab exchanged views on Armenia–EU relations, the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as on intensifying interparliamentary cooperation, according to the readout.
