Armenian Speaker of Parliament meets Iranian Ambassador

Armenian Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan met with Iranian Ambassador Khalil Shirgholami.

According to a readout by the parliament’s press service, Speaker Simonyan congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and expressed hope that his tenure would contribute to the further strengthening and development of relations between the two countries.

The Speaker and the Ambassador also discussed the development of interparliamentary ties and issues of regional interest.
