Armenian, Hungarian lawmakers discuss bilateral relations

A delegation led by István Jakab, Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament, visited the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

During the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations.

According to a readout from the parliament’s press service, members of the Hungarian delegation held a number of meetings at the National Assembly of Armenia.

Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan presented issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation, regional developments, the ongoing peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the return to the homeland of persons missing and illegally detained in Azerbaijan.

It was noted that the commitment to restoring bilateral diplomatic relations demonstrates that there are no issues that cannot be resolved through dialogue.
