Armenia’s economic activity index increased by 9.1 percent in 2025 compared to 2024, according to data published by the Statistical Committee.
The volume of industrial production in 2025 increased by 4.7 percent compared to 2024, reaching AMD 3 trillion 327 billion 745.1 million.
The gross agricultural output for January–December rose by 5.6 percent, totaling AMD 1 trillion 57 billion 224 million.
Construction activity grew by 20.2 percent, reaching AMD 810 billion 676.1 million.
In trade turnover, growth in 2025 amounted to 3 percent, with a total of AMD 6 trillion 789 billion 902.9 million.
During the same period, the volume of services provided increased by 10.5 percent, totaling AMD 4 trillion 89 billion 742.4 million.
The consumer price index rose by 3.3 percent compared to 2024, while the industrial producer price index increased by 3.8 percent. Electricity production volumes grew by 3.4 percent.
The average monthly nominal salary in January–December 2025 increased by 5.6 percent, reaching AMD 303,140. In the public sector, wages rose by 6.5 percent to AMD 239,369, while in the private sector, they increased by 5.1 percent to AMD 327,604.
The volume of foreign trade in 2025 fell by 29 percent compared to 2024, totaling USD 21.43 billion. Exports decreased by 36.1 percent, while imports fell by 23.6 percent.
