Armenian and Azerbaijani ambassadors to Germany participate in discussion on South Caucasus

Armenian Ambassador to Germany Viktor Yengibaryan and Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Nasimi Aghayev participated in a discussion on the recently established peace between the two South Caucasian countries.
The ambassadors were invited to the discussion titled “Turning Points in the South Caucasus: Historic Peace Between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Germany’s Role, and Europe’s New Eastern Connection” by Armin Laschet, Chair of the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee.
In his speech, Ambassador Yengibaryan expressed gratitude to the German government and personally to Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, who previously served as Chair of the Germany–South Caucasus Parliamentary Friendship Group, for his constructive work and support during the preceding period.
According to the embassy press release, the event was also attended by dozens of experts, parliamentarians, and media representatives.
The event was organized by the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Institute for International Cooperation, Technological Diplomacy, and Communication at RWTH Aachen University.
