Armenia signs airport concession amendment with Corporación América, paving way for multi-million-dollar investments

Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and Corporación América S.A. CEO Martín Eurnekian met in Yerevan on Friday and signed the fifth amendment to the concession agreement.
The amendment, between the Government of Armenia and Corporación América S.A., which operates the country’s airports, was approved at the Cabinet meeting the previous day.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of implementing Corporación América S.A.’s investment projects in key sectors in Armenia, according to a government readout.
Both sides highlighted the significance of the negotiations, conducted in a constructive atmosphere, regarding the fifth amendment and its implications for future cooperation.
They also discussed projects related to the building which formerly housed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, located in Republic Square.
Under the deal, Corporación América S.A. is set to invest a total of $425 million in Armenia by 2033.
