Armenia’s Deputy FM  meets U.S. Trade and Development Agency delegation

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan received a delegation led by Carl Kress, Regional Director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit, the foreign ministry said in a readout.

The sides discussed steps aimed at implementing the memorandums of understanding signed between Armenia and the United States within the framework of the Washington Peace Summit held on August 8, 2025. The discussions covered the TRIPP project, cooperation in the energy sector, and collaboration in the mining industry.

The parties praised the effectiveness of the implementation of the agreements reached, particularly the TRIPP Implementation Framework approved following the meeting between Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on January 13, 2026.

The meeting reaffirmed the bilateral commitment to ensuring the continuity of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
