Serviceman found dead with gunshot wound, investigation underway

The body of serviceman Vahan Khachatur Petrosyan was found with a gunshot wound, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia said in a statement.

According to the statement, the body was discovered on January 14 at around 09:50 at the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense.

The ministry expressed its condolences and support to the serviceman’s family members, relatives, and fellow soldiers.

An investigation is underway to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
