German Federal Foreign Office commends Azerbaijan’s oil shipment to Armenia

The German Federal Foreign Office has welcomed the delivery of the second batch of Azerbaijani oil to Armenia, noting that important steps are being taken to normalize trade relations in the region.

The Federal Foreign Office’s Department for Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia made a corresponding post on X.

“Yesterday, another shipment of petroleum made its way from Azerbaijan to Armenia — the second delivery in less than a month. It is encouraging to see that important steps are being taken to normalize trade relations in the region,” the statement reads.
