National Security Service is a key pillar of Armenian statehood, PM says

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the National Security Service on the occasion of the Day of the National Security Service Employee and took part in a ceremonial event.
The Prime Minister congratulated NSS employees on their professional day and expressed gratitude for their service in the interests of the Republic of Armenia and its people.
He emphasized that the National Security Service is one of the most important cornerstones of the state and a key pillar in ensuring national security and preserving the constitutional order.
Pashinyan noted that the government has adopted an agenda focused on the sustainability of the state, placing the Republic of Armenia at the center of all goals and actions. Referring to the economic developments recorded since 2018, he highlighted the role of the National Security Service in safeguarding the security of economic activity.
The Prime Minister also underscored the importance of developing the NSS’s analytical capabilities.
Pashinyan once again congratulated NSS employees on their professional day and expressed appreciation for their service, stating that even in the most difficult situations the National Security Service has effectively addressed the challenges encountered.
On the occasion of the Day of the National Security Service Employee, the Prime Minister awarded NSS personnel with commemorative medals and certificates.
