Defense Minister Papikyan visits new recruits

Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan visited new conscripts at the Ministry of Defense’s central conscription center on the occasion of the regular winter conscription for mandatory military service.

During the visit, Papikyan was accompanied by First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, Deputy Minister of Defense Hrachya Sargsyan, and other military officials.

The Minister of Defense familiarized himself with the work of the conscription commissions and spoke with the conscripts, wishing them good and safe service.

Papikyan also inspected the conscription process and gave relevant instructions.
