A delegation led by Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, is set to arrive in Armenia on January 7, Iran's ISNA news agency reported.
The delegation will hold political consultations in Yerevan. Takht-Ravanchi is also scheduled to meet his Armenian counterpart, as well as other senior Armenian officials.
According to ISNA, the talks will focus on bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, transport and culture. Regional developments in the South Caucasus and cooperation aimed at maintaining peace and security in the region are also on the agenda.
