Armenian, Egyptian economy ministers discuss boosting cooperation

Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation, Rania Al-Mashat.
Rania Al-Mashat also serves as the Egyptian co-chair of the Armenia–Egypt Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
The meeting took place during Papoyan’s visit to Egypt.
The ministers discussed possibilities for deepening cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of industry, agricultural product processing, renewable energy, tourism, and several other sectors, the Ministry of Economy said in a press release.
Papoyan presented the Crossroads of Peace connectivity project and invited Rania Al-Mashat to participate in the Crossroads of Peace Investment Summit, which will be held in Armenia in spring 2026.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
