Armenian Prime Minister, NATO Deputy Secretary General discuss development of cooperation

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with NATO Deputy Secretary General Radmila Shekerinska during her visit to Yerevan.

In a readout, the Prime Minister’s Office said that Pashinyan and Shekerinska discussed matters related to Armenia-NATO partnership and development of cooperation.

PM Nikol Pashinyan said that Armenia values its cooperation with international partners, including NATO, in advancing the agenda of security and stability in the region.

The NATO Deputy Secretary General highly appreciated the partnership with Armenia and thanked the Prime Minister for previously hosting NATO Allied Ambassadors and for an engaging and productive conversation.

The discussion also touched upon the Washington Declaration signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, 2025, as well as the events that followed. Ideas were exchanged on steps towards regional communication unblocking, particularly regarding the TRIPP and Crossroads of Peace projects.

Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
