Türkiye is advancing the normalization process with Armenia in close dialogue with Azerbaijan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the 16th Ambassadors Conference.
According to Report, Erdogan noted that after years without stable peace, the South Caucasus is now going through a historic period, adding that Armenia and Azerbaijan are closer than ever to signing a peace treaty.
He said that, in parallel with this process and in dialogue with Azerbaijan, Türkiye is also moving forward with normalization steps with Armenia, noting that some symbolic measures are expected to begin in early 2026.
