Armenia important for the EU, says Romanian Foreign Minister

There are broad opportunities for expanding cooperation with Armenia aimed at strengthening the country’s stability and vitality, Romanian Foreign Minister Oana-Silvia Țoiu said in a post on X.
She noted that on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Ministers’ Council meeting, she held a detailed exchange of views with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, as well as with other EU foreign ministers.
The Romanian Foreign Minister emphasized that Armenia is important for the European Union.
“There are broad opportunities for expanding cooperation to strengthen Armenia’s stability and vitality. We expressed support for all efforts aimed at establishing sustainable peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus,” Țoiu said.
She added that at the bilateral level, Romania will continue working to further develop relations with Armenia.
